Hydration is crucial; a non-metal water bottle is recommended. Prepare by drinking plenty of water before, during, and after your experience. Complimentary water with LMNT electrolytes and hot herbal tea will be provided to support hydration.
Eat Lightly
We advise against heavy meals before your thermal bathing session. Fuel up with a light snack 2-3 hours prior, ensuring a nourishing experience for your body and soul.
Prepare Your Skin
To maintain sauna surfaces’ integrity, refrain from using lotions or oils on your skin before the session. Showering before arrival is recommended. In case you forget, moist towelettes will be available.
Dress Accordingly
Wear bathing clothes underneath your outer layer. Ladies, opt for sports bras & shorts/leggings or bathing suits; gentlemen, wear shorts with or without a shirt. Sauna bathing is done barefoot, but bring flip-flops or slippers for walking between areas during thermocycling. Walking barefoot in the snow is encouraged!
Travel Light
Travel light and avoid bringing valuables. Moonglade doesn’t provide lockers; limited space is available for personal items, and the facility isn’t responsible for any brought belongings.
